Mandy Rowden - When That Day Comes

Mandy Rowden

Mandy Rowden played violin and piano at age 6, but didn’t find guitar and rock-n-roll until 21.

Now as an accomplished musician (eight instruments, at last count) and songwriter ("Kicks butt with her pen" - Austin Chronicle) Mandy applies her expertise and passion for music through Girl Guitar. A complete "Rock School for women," the nearly ten-year old Guitar Girl musical workshop teaches women of all ages to become confident performers.

A record as diverse as her musical background, Rowden's debut full-length album, These Bad Habits, fuses elements of alt-country, classic rock, and folk into a familiar yet unique Americana Sound. The 11-track collection showcases Mandy’s songwriting; it's a musical evolution from the self-recorded songwriting displayed on her debut EP, Big Moon, to a complete full-band sound.

Mandy followed These Bad Habits with her album 1,000 Miles. With this release Mandy was voted into the top ten Musicians, Songwriters, Vocalists, Songs (Let Me In), and Albums of the Year in the Austin Chronicle Music Poll for 2016. In 2017 Mandy was signed to Colorado's Howlin' Dog Records and recorded her HDR debut When That Day Comes.
